Christie Brinkley (Christie Lee Hudson) was born in Detroit, Michigan, USA on February 2, 1954) is a American Model.
Her popularity rose after her appearances on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in the late 1970s and early '80s.

Christie was a Ford model for over thirty years and has appeared on more than 500 magazine covers worldwide.

Christie lived in Paris and thus she speaks French fluently. At eight 18 when Christie was studying art, a photographer discovered her. Multiple appearances on the cover of Glamour soon followed. At the same time she made a record of 20-year contract with cosmetics brand CoverGirl, the longest of the modeling industry history.

On television, Christie has appeared on NBC’s “Mad About You”. She also hosted Lifetime Television’s “InStyle Celebrity Weddings,” which became the highest rated special in Lifetime’s history. In 1992, Christie hosted a daily lifestyle program on CNN titled “Living in the 90’s with Christie Brinkley,” in which she scripted and filmed her own segments on health, style, travel, food and entertainment.

She appeared in film Young Doctors in Love (1982) and in Vegas Vacation (1997).

Christie is known for her commitment to health and fitness. A book she wrote entitled "Christie Brinkley’s Outdoor Beauty and Fitness Guide" illustrating health and beauty.

Christie married four times, to which the second was musician Billy Joel. Currently, Christie lives in New York with two of her three children.
